In today’s top headlines, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has fired a fresh warning at the United States and President Donald Trump, saying Iran is not Venezuela as the country faces what he described as a full-scale military and economic war.

In Gaza, a four-year-old child was reportedly among three people killed after an Israeli airstrike hit a house in central Gaza, according to rescuers.

In Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has rejected calls for wartime elections, warning that holding elections during the ongoing conflict could further divide the country.

The cricket world has also come together in an appeal to Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
